Independent Shops are Bloody Brilliant
Independent Shops are bloody brilliant & this is why you should buy from them and not from the big boys.
From small villages to big cities, from warehouses to small sheds. Independent shops are the heart of the UK and the UK economy.
When you shop with independent shops every sale goes into their local economy, they employ locally, use other local small businesses and buy from other small businesses.
They love what they do and sell and this is why they start their business, they are the expert in what they sell and they will be able to give you great advice.
They have a dream to succeed in creating a successful business.
What an amazing feeling to be supporting someone's dream when they are so passionate about it.
Do you want to see someone dance?
When you support a small shop owner or a small happy team with a purchase I can guarantee you that they do a happy dance well at least they would love to do it but they may be a bit shy.
Also I am really sure that you feel as a customer much more appreciated when you buy from an independent shop rather than from Amazon.
They go beyond expectations
Small shop owners really care and this is reflected in the way that they pack your order.
Small notes, tissue paper, a thank you card care instructions, etc. All these things can make shopping with small shops so much more pleasurable.
I am sure that you are not having the same vibes when you open an Amazon box.
Definitely you may have problems with the order either from a small or huge shop (we are all human and we rely on the Post Office or courier to do their bit!), but here is where the difference appears again, the independent shop owner will be so apologetic and rectify everything personally.
A customer is a person to an independent shop and not an order number. Give them a ring and they will love to speak to you.
Individual personality & product
Have you failed to find very exciting products on Ebay or have you scrolled and scrolled to find the same products one another one after another on Amazon? They are probably trying to be individual and unique but they just they can’t.
Every small shop owner works hard to offer different and unique products and they make life interesting.
I know not all big boys are bad, but when you support an independent shop you support a real person, a family business, a mum, couples of friends and you help them to make a dream reality.
